INVISIBLE CODE: I Can Dance
I Can Dance expresses the awakening of a vital energy that breaks free and sets itself in motion. The blue tones represent an inner river that for a long time remained in apparent stillness. "Today, my inner river asks it of me": those waters grow restless, they stir and demand movement. What was held back begins to flow and turns into impulse, desire, and the need for expression. The reds, oranges, and yellows burst in with the passion and energy of that liberation, while the arc of colors expands like a force that no longer accepts being annulled.
The great curve that crosses the work is born of those inner waters that no longer wish to stay still. Its movement grows, turns, and rises until it becomes, symbolically, dance. I Can Dance expresses the moment in which what was held back recovers its movement: the woman allows herself to laugh, to choose, to disobey old bonds and to inhabit herself again from freedom. She no longer needs to stay still in order to meet other people's expectations: she recognizes herself in her own rhythm and chooses to live, because she is better off loose than bound.

Today, my inner river asks it of me.
I am "the madwoman"…
who this time,
is not going to stay still,
the movements and passion
with strength and energy
cry out freedom
they enter my world,
no one else is going to annul them,
I choose to be "frivolous" without restraint
because it is my way of acting
with out-of-place bursts of laughter
in a rainbow
that dares to take on colors,
to revive that "loose woman"
who was not born to please them,
she dances and laughs because she is better off…
Loose than bound!
