Life
Biography
An Argentine poet and visual artist whose work braids self-knowledge, freedom, and the dialogue between brush and verse.
Gloria Angélica Saggiorato was born in San Marcos Sud. She found in Villa María, Córdoba, the habitat where her writing and painting could unfold — accompanied by the literary community of the city.
In 2024 she presented her first poemario, Voces libres de mi vida: the book in which she saw herself and heard herself. From that listening came La raíz de los sueños (2025), a second work of introspection that asks the reader to look for answers within.
Her paintings have become meeting places. Writers gathering around a radio programme wrote poems from her canvases; those voices became the anthology Con las alas del alma, presented at the Library of the Legislature of Córdoba.
A third poemario is being prepared. Meanwhile her studio remains the same quiet room: page, pigment, and the decision to be loyal to an essence.
