Tremor in the Drawer

In the book: Trilogy; "I arrive in I, two, 3"

Tremor in the Drawer

Tremor in the Drawer

Great window of the old house
that the wind slammed shut
in a single blow.
Out of fright they hid
in the tattered drawer
of grandmother's dresser,
which with them...
was filled.
The sun hid among the curtains
and, as was its custom, every day,
in its farewell, it melted one of them.
The eager vultures
did not hesitate to sniff out
whatever is left.
The moon, in its wrapping,
calms the skies that breathed out bitterness.
They are witnesses to the transparency
of what wishes to remain hidden,
until new storms
shake...
whoever decides to decipher them.
