Sudden Rapture

In the book: "I'll be there in 1, two, 3"

Sudden Rapture

Sudden rapture

I have kept intact
every grain of sand I have lived.
The calendar shed its leaves,
it faded my youth
and tattooed my childhood in sepia.
My wandering
chimeras …
vanished before.
Time is accessible to everyone,
it is only passing through,
it is limited,
discreet…
before the last breath that slowly ends.
There will be no tomorrow.
The cold frightens.
it is merciless,
devouring,
it freezes what still remains…
Life!

You run far too fast,
I can no longer hold you back.
I am not fleeing,
but do not abandon me to oblivion.
Between the horizon and eternity
today I deposit my unfulfilled dreams
that wait in silence,
in immortal heartbeats,
never extinguished.
I will return!
