The Star Touches Bottom

The star touches bottom

The sun, drunk on blue,
embraces the depths with the warmth of silences.
The mantle of time, with seals of high ferocity,
wrinkles the traces of what once was.
They are the hidden feathers
among the sighs of the accordions,
witnesses of gold evaporated in the oak
where the sparrows sleep.
The star merges into the ocean's lookout...
it knows nothing of its limit, and even so, it trusts in what is true.
The moon steals adventures from the night, she is only a visitor
and not a guest.
She is left longing to feel loved.
